Students may obtain an official or unofficial copy of their academic record upon written request. To request a copy of your transcript, please visit our Request a Transcript page for more information on ordering. Bay State College is no longer processing nor providing unofficial transcripts.
Alumni/Former Bay State College Students
Official transcripts for electronic delivery must be ordered online through the National Student Clearinghouse. This service offers a fast, simple, and secure way to order copies of official transcripts online. You'll be guided through the easy step-by-step process and can track the status of your order online. Note that electronic transcripts have a $2.50 per copy processing fee.
Records of Closed Institutions
Please note that Bay State College is the custodian of records for several closed institutions, Bay State Jr. College, Burdett College, Chandler School for Women, Bradford School, Andover Junior College, Carnegie Institute, Franklin Morris Academy, and Philadelphia School of Technology.
If you are looking for a record from a closed institution, please order online through the National Student Clearinghouse. When selecting School in the search field use “Bay State College” and under “Schools/Programs Attended” make note of the prior school. Physical Transcript/Mailed Requests
Bay State College is a closed school as of August 31, 2023. As we transition our records and close accounts, we no longer have physical transcript paper or supplies to fulfill physically mailed requests and all transcript requests are to be processed through the National Student Clearinghouse.
Bay State College Closed School and Custodian of Records
Per the requirement from the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education (MDHE) and the US Department of Education Bay State College, it is a requirement to transition records to a Custodian of Records which would manage and maintain both Bay State College records and previously retained custodial of records. We appreciate your patience in this process as Bay State College is finalizing these steps and will provide an update here on the website once this transition is complete. Until that time, please continue to request your records here at National Student Clearinghouse.
Diploma Requests
Bay State College’s notice of closure was publicly disclosed in April 2023 which then entered a teach-out status until August 31st, 2023. Bay State College is no longer fulfilling new or duplicated diploma requests. As a diploma is not official proof of a degree, please continue to request your official records here at National Student Clearinghouse.
Education Verifications for Employment or Other
All education verifications are to be requested through the National Student Clearinghouse. When processing your request attach and submit the verification forms requesting to be completed, and any or all additional documents needing to be included in your request.
