Retail Management Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Integrate a set of ethical and legal standards into decision-making for the retail industry.
  2. Examine and explore the increasing importance of globalization in the retail industry, including the identification and appropriate response to opportunities and threats in this global environment.
  3. Analyze and propose solutions to complex real world managerial problems.
  4. Integrate business analysis and expertise into a framework for business problem-solving and forecasting.
  5. Utilize technology and demonstrate presentation skills necessary to compete and succeed in the business world.

    A 2-year alternative to Bay State College's 4-year B.S. in Management – Fashion Industry Concentration program, a Fashion Merchandising Minor will give you a solid foundation in all things fashion and business with classes like Merchandise Marketing & Control, Contemporary Designer and Trends, Retail Product Development, and more.
  • Fashion Design
