Head Coach of Esports - Bryan Hummel

Bryan brings endless experience in gaming to the Esports Team at Bay State College in addition to earning a BSBA degree in International Business at Nichols College. With a competitive gaming background since 2000, he has landed himself as one of the top 1% players in the game such as Halo, Destiny, COD, Gears of War, PUBG, and Fortnite. Active in Evo Esports organization since 2018, he has competed in both Fortnite and streaming. Bryan has been a part of the online coaching services for Destiny and Fortnite with over 2,000 hours logged as a private coach and player/talent recruitment. The experiences he has gained will allow him to continue to grow the program and make him a huge asset to the Bay State College community.

Assistant Coach of Esports - Max Martin

With a degree in Exercise and Health Sciences, and a background in Personal Training, Max brings a unique approach to coaching an esports team. A Massachusetts native, he grew up playing video games and brings his passion to help our students become better athletes and students. He has completed stints in AmeriCorps NCCC and City Year, where he traveled the country completing multiple community service projects with such organizations as Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club, The skills he has gained throughout these experiences will make him a valuable part of the Bay State College family!
