On Tuesday, October 24th, outside Partners and on-campus resources came together for the annual Wellness Fair. We stopped by each table to talk to the representatives about what wellness means to them. Here's what they had to say:

Wellness is..."health and happiness." - The Bulldog Pride

Wellness is..."keeping up with yourself, and taking care of yourself both physically and mentally." - Warm Up Protein Coffee

Wellness is..."having a healthy and balanced lifestyle. It's having your soul, body, and mind all in a healthy state." - The Huntington Avenue YMCA

Wellness is..."LGBT competent healthcare and taking everyone's needs into account. You have to understand that one size doesn't fit all when it comes to every individual's wellness and health." - The Fenway Institute at Fenway Health

Wellness is..."being healthy." - Marathon Sports

Wellness is..."holistic. It's taking care of yourself physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially." - Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts

Wellness is..."Being physically and mentally content with where you're at in life." - Boston Sports Club

So, be well! Boston and Bay State College provides so many resources to help you be healthy and happy throughout the school year. For more information on the organizations involved with the Wellness Fair, please reach out to Kristin Staine at kstaine@baystate.edu.
