The Bay State College chapter of DECA, Distributive Education Clubs of America, has gone full steam ahead into the New Year. Fueled by the leadership, energy and enthusiasm of our own Dr. Raymond Guillette, this collegiate association will help you achieve your career goals.
What is DECA?
DECA is a collegiate club that prepares students for success in the business world. Its mission is to support the development of emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
How will I benefit from joining DECA?
DECA prepares students for academic success, to become community oriented, to be professionally responsible, and to become an experienced leader.
What kinds of activities can I participate in as a DECA member?
You can participate in innovative Challenges that are created in partnership with several corporate partners. Enter DECA’s many competitive events as an individual or as part of the Bay State College DECA Team. Attend educational conferences across the country. Join one of the many passport programs to immerse yourself in the DECA experience.
When does DECA meet and how do I join?
DECA meets biweekly in person and virtually. Students can join DECA by emailing DECA@baystate.edu
