Bay State College to Open New Campus in Taunton

By on June 7, 2013

Later this summer or early fall, we will be moving our Middleborough location to a new, state of the art facility in Taunton, MA just ten miles away. This new campus will be equipped with 8 modern classrooms, 2 computer labs, a science lab, library and student lounge and offices. Effective either August 27th or October 22nd we will be officially moving our Middleboro campus to Taunton. The new campus in Taunton is located at 101 Industrial Park Road, conveniently located just off Exit #9 of Rte. 495, at the head of Myles Standish Industrial Park.

The new location in Taunton gives you, our students, staff and faculty the kind of collaborative working environment necessary to thrive in a fast-paced world. By opening this facility we hope to strengthen our commitment to delivering an exceptional learning experience for all.

This move is part of our strategic plan to enhance the educational programs we offer and continue to be relevant and meet employers’ needs in today’s job market. It represents more than two years of research with student, staff and faculty input, site selection and contemplation and speaks directly to the mission of the College - offering a quality education with blended student support services. The new facility will enable the College to more efficiently provide students with a quality education that prepares them for professional careers and increasing levels of higher education.

Some of you may have questions about this move. Let me be the first to say that we are here to support you. Meryle Anderson, Assistant Campus Coordinator will act as liaison to answer any questions and assist with the transition to Taunton.
