Gender equality in the workplace has been a hot topic recently, and one group of Bay State College Entertainment Management students is doing their part to shed some light on how it affects the entertainment industry.
Tita Antonopoulos is a student in the Entertainment Management program at Bay State College, so it's no surprise that she supports the arts. In recent years, however, she has a new reason to appreciate them: her son, Christos.
Bay State College's Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program is so dedicated to service learning, they've made it a core part of their curriculum! PTA students are assigned their service learning projects during their first semester, and work on them for the remainder of their two-year program. We sat down with a group of graduating PTA students - Sammi Lehr, Kaitlin Kolesnikoff and Alison Quill - to learn more about the service learning project they completed this year.
From March 12th through March 18th, 2017, three Bay State students traveled to Washington D.C. to volunteer for the Greater Washington Boys & Girls Club with other students from around the country to serve children in underprivileged communities and complete other service activities in the D.C. area.
