He joins the team with an impressive Esports resume and plans to take the Bay State College Esports Program to the highest level. Juneteenth is celebrated on June 19th to commemorate the ending of slavery. This was when Galveston, Texas received the news of the end of the war and President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation (January 1863) by Major General Gordon Granger two years later in 1865.

During a time of many riots and uprisings, the raiding of the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich by police became an explosive event sparking the visibility of the Gay Liberation Movement on June 28th, 1969. The Stonewall Inn was one of the few bars frequented by the gay community in a time where homosexuality was considered illegal.
