Jeremy Thompson Speaks in Economics Class

Monday afternoon, Senior Policy Analyst at the Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center Jeremy Thompson came to Bay State College to speak to Eric Desmond's Economic class.
Thompson's work mainly focuses on higher education and other budget, tax, and economic issues, including jobs and wages. Prior to joining MassBudget, Jeremy was the Director of Higher Education for SEIU Local 509. He has also worked as a principal of Economic Justice Research Hub and in research positions at 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, the Boston Redevelopment Authority, and for Cook County Commissioner Mike Quigley in Chicago.
Jeremy has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Emerson College and a Master of Urban Planning and Policy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
