Professor Gaskin has worked in various business management positions for ten plus years. Some of the organizations that she gained valuable experience with include, Luxottica, Limited Brands, Saks, and Jacadi. Within these organizations she has held the title of Business Consultant, General Manager, and Store Market Manager. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Fashion and Retail Management from Clark Atlanta University and her Masters of Business Administration from American Intercontinental University.
Professor Gaskin looks to guide her students on a path of professional development by giving them feedback, structure, and support to achieve each learning outcome. "I love to engage students by creating a learning environment that gives students assignments and projects that are not solely focused on textbook readings, but involves analyzing podcasts, reading industry publications, as well as inviting industry experts to join us to give students firsthand knowledge of the career path they are about to embark upon" .
