To All of Our Veterans: Thank You for Serving

November 9, 2020

On Veterans Day, we honor those brave men and women who have served our nation in the United States Armed Forces. At Bay State College, we are privileged to share our community with active military and veteran students, employees and alumni. Each Veterans Day, and throughout the year, it is important for us to recognize those who served our country and extend our deepest gratitude for their endless bravery, selflessness, and sacrifices.

November 11th was proclaimed Veterans Day by President Woodrow Wilson to honor the "eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" of 1918 that signaled the end of World War I. Veterans Day is an important reminder to honor those who has served in defense of our country, and each year, we take this opportunity to pay tribute to generations who have proudly worn a uniform in protecting our freedoms. Bay State College is forever grateful for the strength, sacrifice, and continued commitment to support and defend our nation; every day, especially on November 11th, we encourage our community to remember and honor all Veterans.

We thank all of our veterans for being such a strong example for our core values and for their continued leadership and service, both inside and outside of the classroom.
