May 24, 2021
Graduates of the Bay State College Class of 2020 and 2021 celebrated their achievements at the 75th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 22, through a virtual event.
Bay State College President Steven Combs, PhD, congratulated the graduates, "They've worked hard, endured long hours, and overcome countless challenges to earn the well-deserved accolades that we bestow on them today. Graduates, you came here to achieve, you've done that, often accomplishing more than you thought possible then you first began. You've made great sacrifices to earn a degree and we're proud that you did not waiver in achieving that goal. Be proud on this day. You're fulfilling a promise to yourself to find the strength, courage, and confidence to unlock your potential."
Andy Stoll, American-based social entrepreneur, producer, and speaker, was the commencement speaker, "over the last year, you have proven your ability to persevere, to adapt, to be creative in wake of uncertainty," he told the graduates, "and as we face some of the biggest societal challenges in the century, you are the first graduating class in the history of the world who has the right know-how, world-view, and tools to help you be exactly who you want to be."
