Hospitality Management Program Mission 

The mission of the Hospitality Management Program at Bay State College is to provide the highest-quality hospitality education, centered on the development of critical thinking, business knowledge, and practical skills for the hotel, food & beverage, event planning, and travel fields, to empower our graduates to pursue successful and meaningful careers. 

Hospitality Management Program Learning Outcomes 

  1. Integrate a set of ethical and legal standards into decision-making for the hospitality industry. 
  2. Examine and explore the increasing importance of globalization in hospitality management, including the identification and appropriate response to opportunities and threats in this global environment. 
  3. Analyze and propose solutions to complex real world managerial problems.

  5. Utilize technology and demonstrate presentation skills necessary to compete and succeed in the business world.

    Learn human behavior theory and data analysis skills with a Psychology Minor, then apply it directly to the technical and social aspects of a hospitality management career.

    The customer base in the hospitality industry is diverse. A Sociology Minor will help you to respond to the needs of personal needs based on race, ethnicity and gender.
