- For the third year in a row Bay State College has been named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll
- In 2009-2010 547 students engaged in community service of some kind
- 220 students engaged in at least 20 hours of community per semester
- Total student service hours: 5,636.5
- Through Service Learning, our students participated in programs such as Remix Fashion Show to benefit the Dress for Success program, Project Renaissance: Hope for Haiti, Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, and an annual drive to help the Native American community of Red Shirt, South Dakota
- 300 students participated in Academic Service Learning
- Total faculty and staff hours: 1,500.5
