CAROLYN RILEY, M.S.
Professor Riley attended college and graduate school in Boston. Her career focus has been within the field of corrections, specifically as a member of a Sheriff's Command Staff, responsible for program administration and clinical treatment as well as staff and facility management. She has concentrated on restorative justice, prevention and reintegration/reentry into the community. Her realm of specialty has been counseling and preparing diverse incarcerated individuals for release from correctional institutions. Professor Riley is Bay State College's Certified Inside Out Program Facilitator, bringing outside college students into correctional facilities to take classes alongside incarcerated students. Professor Riley's interests include collecting perfume from around the world, attending live music events and capturing images of sunsets and decaying, formerly opulent, elaborate architectural structures in photographs.
