Dr. Darang is the program chair for Bay State College's Medical Assisting and Health Studies programs. She currently teaches Anatomy & Physiology I and II and Microbiology. She's passionate about innovative teaching methods and activities that promote critical thinking and in-depth learning.

Dr. Darang presented a lecture on the “Pedagogical Value of Medical T.V. Shows” at the 7th Annual National Conference on Allied Health Education hosted by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). This was immediately followed by another similar presentation, Medical TV and Instructional Strategies, at the 72nd Educational Program and Annual Meeting hosted by the American Medical Technologists. The focus of her presentations was not only on the Medical TV shows’ profound impact on how the public views medicine and medical careers, but also, it’s educational advantages and how effective they could be as a teaching tool.
