Patricia Nugent

Background

Professor Nugent is the Department Chair of the Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Design programs at Bay State College. She currently teaches Fashion Merchandising, Retail Operations and Strategies, and Senior Project in Merchandising.  Before coming to Bay State College Professor Nugent worked as a buyer and a retail training manager.

Interests & Hobbies

Professor Nugent's academic interests lie in dress and identity, buying, and social networking in the fashion industry.  Interestingly, Professor Nugent was a reporter in New York. She enjoys bowling and, loves handbags, and at one point in her career wrote horoscopes for a major newspaper.
