Diane Dednah
Background
Professor Dednah teaches a number of courses in Bay State College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program including, Intro to PTA, Cardiopulmonary Interventions, Neurological Interventions, Musculoskeletal Conditions, and Modalities and Soft Tissue Techniques. She is also lab assistant for Kinesiology, Assessment and Measures. For more than 15 years she has worked in three PTA academic programs. She holds certificates as a Physical Therapist Assistant and Credentialed Clinical Instructor.

Interests, Hobbies & Fun Facts
Professor Dednah is a volunteer for beagle rescue BONES doing home visits, transports, and fostering. An avid runner, cyclist and hiker she volunteers for the Mass Audubon Society’s Turtle Stranding Network and participates in fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, for which she also completed a marathon. She competed in the U.S. Women’s Field Hockey Association. And for a period of time she held a high school varsity softball record of 22 strikeouts.
