Background

Professor Gold teaches Midi & Synthesis and Studio Recording at Bay State College. He has worked in several facets of the music industry including technical support for Cambridge-based music technology company MOTU and Framingham-based BOSE Corporation. Recording projects have included the Boston bands Lifestyle and Freezepop, and projects both here and in the UK with members of internationally known bands The Cure, Psychedelic Furs and Morrissey. Professor Gold has also taught audio recording at several other institutions of higher learning in the Boston area.
